SQLHelp - Step 2 - Set SQL Options
In step 2 - SQL Options, you select the types of SQL attributes to process
for any given procedure.
SQL Options
- If RAISERROR is included, any object for which RAISERROR is valid
will have error events listed.
- Enterprise manager descriptions are an alternate method to provide
descriptions for use in SQLHelp. Beginning with SQL Server 2000,
Microsoft has provided a means for describing SQL object elements.
Using SQL enterprise manager, developers can associate descriptions with the
objects they are creating while in "design" mode of enterprise
manager. These descriptions are stored internally as extended
properties with a name of MS_Description. For more information on SQL
Server 2000 extended properties, search the Books Online for "extended
properties".
If selected, this option indicates that the enterprise manager supplied
description will be used if a SQLHelp tag is not present. If a
corresponding SQLHelp tag is present, it will always be used regardless
of this setting.
Project Options
The project options tab lets you set the
various options that define the project.
Directories
The directories tab allows you to select the input
and output folders for the project.
- Press Next once the folders are selected.
- Press Back to return to the welcome screen.
- Pressing "?" will display this page.
