SQLHelp - Step 2 - Set File Options
In step 2, you select directories for SQLHelp to parse the SQL batches from,
and to place the compiled help output file in. Additionally, you can
specify the project options to use when compiling the output.
File Options
The include options tab lets you define the various file types to use when
building the list of files for the project.
- Included file types: This option
box indicates the file types SQLHelp will work with. The supported
default file types (or extensions) are: SQL, TSQ, SSQ, TXT, QUERY, SP, and
DB. In addition to these predefined file types, SQLHelp supports the
definition of a custom file extension.
- Look in sub folders: If
selected, this option will cause SQLHelp to recurse the specified input
folder for files to process. The file types to search for are defined
in the Include file types option boxes.
- Include all files meeting these criteria indicates that SQLHelp will automatically include all files whose file extension
matches the included file types in the source folder, and if recursion is
turned on, all sub folders.
- Select the specific files to include indicates that you want SQLHelp
to display a list of files and have you specify which files to
include in the project.
Project Options
The project options tab lets you set the
various options that define the project.
