Simplicity by design is our underlying philosophy. As many of our long standing customers can attest, the capabilities of Pikauba Software products continue to evolve to meet the requirements of today's complex information projects.
Consider SQLHelp as an example of this evolution. The first few versions tended to work best with perfectly formed SQL as defined in the BNF for SQL Server. As it turns out, no-one really ever writes perfect SQL and thus the tool was forced to evolve to accommodate SQL commands users would write which violated the BNF, but were sufficiently valid for SQL Server to act upon them. We wish to thank for their input during this formative phase of SQLHelp.
As SQLHelp development continued, it became obvious that something more was required and DBDocumentor development began. With DBDocumentor, we launched a product which was largely a reflection of customer input. Your feedback is very important to us as we continue to build upon our capabilities and extend them into new directions.
If, at any time, you have questions about our software, wish to make suggestions or raise concerns, please do not hesitate to send us an email or, if you prefer, drop a personal email to me. Note that if you do decide to send an email, please include the name of any Pikauba Software product in the subject line. Unfortunately the volume of garbage email received means that unless you are on a white list, or include the name of a product, the email will be deleted. Pikauba has implemented a clear email policy to help manage the volume of email received. If you are in a position to influence such things in your organization, we offer our email policy as a template for all to use.
